"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly."
-Pres. Thomas S. Monson

Will turns 8!

Will turned 8!  This is a big year and we are so excited for all it involves.  Will had a friend party this year.  I had a swim party when I was 8, and that is exactly what Will wanted as well.  We invited some of his favorite friends over for pizza, root beer, swimming at the Kamas pool, and then applesauce cake and mint chocolate chip ice cream.

I will always have a soft spot for my first born.  8 years ago I became a mom, and it was because of him.  What can I say about this boy that I haven't already said?  He has turned into a great friend and truly tries to include everyone.  He is still the best big brother on the planet!  If I need him to, he will play with Paige for an hour just so I can have a little rest.  He is SO SMART.  Will is turning into a little athlete and has some real get up!  I'm excited to cheer on a track star one day.  We love him.  He is our favorite boy on the planet!  Happy Birthday, bud!
