"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly."
-Pres. Thomas S. Monson

For you, Tim.

Today I learned that a highschool friend of mine, Tim Tuke, passed away from brain cancer. He was married with two children; a three year old boy and a baby girl. My heart broke as I thought of his family and what a huge loss they are experiencing. He was so young- only 31. We spent a lot of time together our senior year as he was in both Advanced Theater and Musical Productions with me at Davis High. Tim was the best kind of person; he never complained, was always ready to help and I don't think I ever saw him without a smile. He will be missed by many.

To honor Tim today, I played with my son. We built Leo's for over an hour. It is something I get to do (and often take for granted), and I know Tim would have loved to do that with his boy when he turns 8.

Tim, thanks for making the world a happier place.
