"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly."
-Pres. Thomas S. Monson

Week 41

WE HAD FINAL INSPECTION THIS WEEK. We failed, (ha! Of course), but at least we are to that point. Plus our fix list was small and nit-picky.

Dexter's house passed, and I'm sure that ours will pass next week after we reschedule. We knew that we would fail because the plumber realized that they had delivered the wrong water heater to 9 of the houses. We had to wait for new ones to be ordered and then reinstalled.

I ran Ragnar this week, and Dallas sent me one of the best text messages ever on Saturday. It said: "No hour requirement next week. We're done!" Best news ever! I may or may not have bawled like a baby.

Open House is still scheduled for July 2nd and we have to be out of the apartment by July 10. It will be a mad dash to get it all done with our 4th of July trip to Afton in the middle of it all. No complaints here though- that is the best kind of problem to have!

In under 2 weeks I will be making dinner here every night!
