"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly."
-Pres. Thomas S. Monson

Boy Genius

I know I'm his mother and I'm a little biased, but my son is brilliant.  Will has far surpassed his grade level in reading this year and picks up on new concepts so quickly.  He has been showing some interest in math lately, so Dallas has sat down with him a few times to do some math problems.  The other night Dallas wrote down a bunch of random problems, and Will was able to solve them himself- including carrying over!  I was so impressed.

And the drawing skills!

My little boy has continued to amaze me for nearly six and a half years now.  Go. Will.

  1. Sounds like he must have some of his Grandpa Nicoll's genes. His drawing brings back fond memories of Mark's early drawings. Way to go Will, keep up the good work.

  3. Amazing art skills!! Have you tried Khan Academy (online) with him on the math? Bet he flies right though their programs. Cadence likes it because she gets badges for completing things. :o)
